The phrase ” I’m Bored”
Kids and adults use this phrase a lot in the summer or anytime they are out of school. The article says that “ Life isn’t meant to be an endless amusement. 
Parents are trying to teach kids it’s up to you to amuse your self in the right way.
School is to learn not entertainment
Students come home and tell their parents today was boring. A teachers job is not to entertain it is to educate. The article says kids that are bored in school should try extracurricular activities. In high school kids that are bored get in trouble for phones and doing something other than their work.
Long car rides
During car rides, kids are always asking this question “Are we there yet?”. They will also start kicking seats and do other things. Then they make the claim I’m bored. Parents are trying to prepare for their kid’s behavior, they use movies, I pads, and other things like toys.
