Modern political leaders handling a disagreement different than the play Julius Caesar. In the play, Julius Ceasar, Brutas and Cassius do not want Ceasar to become a leader. So they killed him. In the Ancient Roman Government if the people do not agree with you or do not want you to become a leader they will kill you. In the U.S Government if we don’t want you to become president most people will not vote for you.

Julius Ceasar was about to become a leader and Cassius did not want him to become a leader. So Cassius got Brutas to agree with him. He made Brutas afraid of the power that Julius was about to gain. Then the townspeople agreed with Brutas about Julius’s power was too much. So instead of not allowing him to become a leader, they killed him instead.

Donald Trump has made many mistakes in the office, but instead of killing him because we don’t agree what he is doing we decide to vote him out instead. Now if you kill a president because you don’t agree with them you can go to jail for a long time. Donald Trump has moved immigrants without paperwork out of America, and many people do not agree with him, but they do not harm him at all.

Our modern-day government is different from the Ancient Roman government because you can’t kill the leader/President because you do not agree with their decisions. In U.S history there have been assassinations like JFK, Abraham Lincoln, and President Garfield. The people that assassinated these presidents not get away free they were caught for their actions. Now in modern-day government vs Ancient Roman Government is very different we have evolved to know that killing for a disagreement is, not the right way.
